Me too. Not kind of pathetic but really, really pathetic.

My sister-in-law is one of those pathetics. She even got pregnant to trap him and he is not a good catch. I would have thrown him back in but whatev. I guess they deserve each other in their happily ever after fantasy.

I have a friend who is practically dying to get married. Luckily, she hasn't been so desperate to marry just anyone.

I could never do what your SIL did. I'm so un-marriage minded that I wouldn't know what to do if I had to plan a wedding. I don't like white dresses and I've never liked wedding dresses. Guess that means I'd have to elope! ;)

bananya, if you'd like an invite to view my other blog (LB), send me your email address and I will send you an invite.

Got married in pink, kept my name. The two of us paid for the wedding, went to Paris, stayed on the 5th floor of a hotel with no elevator, had a blast. Still married 16 years and 2 kids later. Still like my own name. Drives me crazy every time I see a woman give up her name.

Just sign me: still WRG and proud of it!

I can't understand giving up my last name or some of the women who do. To me, it would be the same as giving up my first name. I'd be lost without it. (I do have a friend whose husband strongly considered taking her name instead.)
