Lie #7: Accepting non-Alaskan related political invites during the Alaskan legislative session

1) According to the Alaska State Legislature website, this year's legislative session runs from January 20 to April 19.

2) In the hubbub over Sarah Palin's disinvitation to the NRCC, Palin's spokeswoman Meg Stapleton stated, "She is focused on Alaska," Stapleton said today. And while Palin's camp claimed no hard feelings about being replaced by Gingrich, Stapleton said, "She probably would have said yes if they could have waited." The fund raising dinner is June 8 in Washington, D.C.

3) Sarah Palin is taking a "36-hour vacation" to attend the Vanderburgh County Right to Life dinner in Evansville, IN, as well as a breakfast the next day for S.M.I.L.E., a nonprofit organization for people with family members who have Down syndrome. The events are scheduled on April 16 and 17th during the Alaska Legislative session.

Sarah Palin, via her public relations team, is either lying about putting Alaska first or screwing up her acceptance to speak at the NRCC dinner in June. Which is it?
